Meet The Owner
Shanique Hunter has been around in the trucking industry for many years. She is no stranger to business operations as she grew up working in her parents' Jamaican restaurants and retail stores from a young age. She went on to own and operate some successful businesses of her own including a work from home agency and a food truck.
Her Story
Shanique's family started off owning and operating semi trucks along with buying selling and financing used semis. Prior to fully diving into the trucking industry herself, her husband started out driving hotshots. She decided to learn the art of dispatching to help her husband on the road. Once she mastered booking and finding loads, she made it a point to provide not only just a dispatch service, an arm of support, and professionalism to aid other trucking companies in building a strong professional platform to generate revenue.
Now Shanique works with a small team of dispatchers and has moved on to launch a freight brokerage in which Straight Path Dispatch will have first dibs on the loads.
